Food

We ask parents to provide food for their children in clearly named containers. We are trying to discourage the use of food wrap. We encourage parents to bring a variety of healthy food that will sustain children throughout the day e.g. sandwiches, yoghurt, fruit and vegetables.

We can also heat up hot food in the microwave. We prefer that parents don’t put sweets and chips in children’s lunchboxes. These can be kept for treats instead! We have a total ban of all whole nuts at the centre.

The centre supplies plates, cups, cutlery, face cloths and bibs (if needed).

Throughout the year there also may be birthday celebrations where parents bring in cake. If you do not wish your child to be a part of these celebrations please let us know.
